Lodge Cornwallis No. 107, Kolhapur
ADOPTED SPECIAL CHILDREN
To commemorate the “Universal Brotherhood
Day” of Freemasonry, the members of Lodge
from Kolhapur conducted a unique activity. On
the request of District Collector of Kolhapur,
Lodge adopted 5 special children of Swayam
School for Special Children at Kolhapur and
donated a sum of Rs.25000/=. This school has
120 special children and all the educational

District Collector Shri Daulat Desai. The
Municipal Commissioner Dr. Mallinath
Kalshetti enquired about Freemasonry. Bro.
Milind and Bro. Rajubhai explained the
concept & work of Freemasons and also
highlighted the importance of our Lodge. Our
members also planted trees at the school
premises. Shri Daulat Desai & Dr. Kalshetti
praised our commitment and thanked our
Lodge for the help. It was really a touching
expenses, travel expenses and medical activity and we all members promised further
expenses of these students are done by the support to the students and school. - Report by
school. To meet these expenses the School Bro. Suryakant Patil
Committee Chairman and District Collector
made an appeal to our Lodge to adopt few Universal Brotherhood Day 2019
students & sponsor their expenses. On the Celebration at Bhopal
occasion of “Universal Brotherhood Day” our (A)Masonic Fraternity of Bhopal & Vidisha
members Bro. Rajubhai Doshi, Bro. Amardeep organized joint program “Academic
Patil, Bro. Niranjan Waichal, Bro. Milind Excellence Awards” on the occasion of
Dhond, Bro. Vasudeo Kalghatgi visited the “Universal Brotherhood Day” for the 6th
school. They were welcomed by the Principal consecutive year. The participating Lodges
Pramod Bhise and staff. Special children were The Vishvanath Lodge No.111, Lodge
presented a special dance for our members. Cherian No. 183, Lodge Harawtar No. 202,
Inspite of being differently abled the dance Lodge Sanchi No. 247, Lodge Bhojpur Past
they did was really impressive. Then our Bro.
Masters No. 261, Lodge Sabarmati No. 271,
Lodge Vindhyachal No 305 and Lodge Bhojpal
No. 372. R W Bro Dr R K Bisariya contributed a
sum of Rs 9000/-.
On Sunday, 23rd June 2019, Masonic
Fraternity of Bhopal & Vidisha recognized the
academic excellence of the top 3 students of
24 Government schools in Bhopal in MP State
10th Board exams and gave them a
cash/cheque reward of Rs 1200 / 1000 / 800
